To confirm if your device is really stuck, check on the hard drive light and see if its stable. A stable light means it's really stuck, hard press the power button and hopefully it should revert any changes.

On the other hand if it's still blinking, it means there's still some activity on your device, just give it more time as the installation of the update might be taking quite sometime. If it failed to load Windows after forcing to restart the device, try accessing the advanced startup. When booting once you see the Windows logo hard press the power button to interrupt it.

You may need to do this 3 to 4 times till the advance startup shows up. If this doesn't work, use an installation media and use the Windows Repair feature.
